Student body is approx 50 students
Description (Service) Operates a private First Nations secondary school for students from Long Lake 58 First Nation 

Offers a full curriculum approved and inspected by the Ontario Ministry of Education for students from Grades 9-12  
Teaches Native language as a subject course and promotes a sense of pride of heritage  
Offers cultural activities and a traditional Native studies course as part of regular programs  
Provides supervised extra-curricular activities and outdoor education courses  
Participates in sports and competitions including golf, volleyball, basketball, and cross-country running  
Participates in the Ontario Secondary Student Literacy Test (OSSLT) program  
Amenities include modern shops, classroom pods, a science lab, computer lab and a gymnasium 
Provides special education assistance for students with learning difficulties

PASS Program Pathways to Achieve Student Success (PASS) is an exciting new education initiative involving eight Matawa First Nation schools. With funding provided through Aboriginal Affairs Canada’s First Nation Student Success Program (FNSSP) has three primary target areas:

Learning Centre The Matawa Learning Centre is a private First Nations High School serving the students of the five remote Matawa communities of Neskantaga, Webequie, Marten Falls, Nibinamik and Eabametoong. We provide assistance to students with:
